A long time ago we started a family tradition of writing on index cards our favorite things from the year and sticking the cards in our Christmas stockings. Before we put away our Christmas stuff, we get new index cards and individually write our favorite things from the past year. Then, we read them out loud to each other.
This year, I decided to read through everyone's cards from years past. It was so fun, and I realized that these great moments would make a great post. SO, here's what we have come up with over the years:
Atticus' Favorites
2001
1) Being born
2) Jumping in my Johnny Jumper or jumping and playing with Tiare on her bed.
3) Being held and eating

1)Learning all of his signs (Baby Sign Language)
2) Reading his truck book
3) Dancing with his sister
2003
1)Riding bike outside and riding on the trainer with Daddy while watching the Tour de France
2) Tickle machine

5) Carrying his manual and saying "I go meeting!"
2004
1) Baseball in our huge, biggy backyard
2) Football and sledding and Stefen (his imaginary friend), Lurker and Lukey died and went up to heaven (his old imaginary friends)
3) "Freeze frees" game (Atticus' made up game involving checkers)
4) Learning to play on the computer ("PBS kids Mom!"), computer games with Buster Baxter Postcards from Buster--monoski, grass dance with Stefen
One day I'm going to take pictures of the cards themselves because it was this year that Atticus started writing/drawing on the cards himself--so cute!
2005
